Geoff B. to be the contact for Steve Beech at the show.

Volunteers for the parade will need to be at the parade staging area by 11:30 am. Staging area is the opposite end of Route 16/Route 9 in Wellesley Hills. Looking for convertibles.

Booklet/Advertising: $250 has been collected/deposited for advertising. $2150 has been billed out from previous advertisers wishing to continue. Richard B. thanked Richard K., Ron P., and Art T. for helping make calls to advertisers. Needham Bank has committed to advertising. Advertising dollars helped to offset the Christmas party expenses and the donations to the 5 food pantries.

If you have a suggestion for an advertiser, please send to Will F. or Richard B. A full-page advertisement is $200, a half page is $125. Richard B. would like to obtain another $600 in advertising revenue.
A suggestion was made to walk along Route 135 businesses to ask to post flyers and/or advertise in the booklet. Both Casey’s Diner in Natick and Lloyd’s Diner in Framingham will be asked to advertise.

The DJ is the same as the one used for the Commander’s Mansion Watertown show. The cost is $400, and he will bring his own generator and tent.

The Wellesley Rotary will be selling coffee and donuts from 7:30 am to 10 am since Starbucks is no longer at the Center.

Steve H. will use his truck to move registration materials, tables, signs, cones, and banners to the show. Richard K. has the three original club banners and Art T. has the tent.

Will F. will email electronic version of flyer to club members. Peter K. will send Save the Date email with flyer to email list no later than next week with follow up about a week before the show. Nancy T. will post the flyer on car show websites.

New Business/Old Business

Richard B. proposed to sponsor an award at the Holliston Historical Society Father’s Day Car Show for $200. Voted/Agreed.

Marlene C. proposed a July 4th morning cruise. It will be a low-key event starting at 9 am. Route would be determined but starting in Natick. She organized a similar cruise from Natick through Dover/Sherborn ending at C&L Frosty which was highly successful. A suggestion was made to end at TJ Spirits in Ashland. A show of hands of people interested was asked and Marlene will proceed with planning. Peter K. offered to speak with the owner of TJ Spirits. It was also suggested to make a convenience stop to allow cruisers to regroup and use the restrooms during the cruise.

Suggestions were made for a group cruise to the following cruise nights:

Monday – Sudbury Point Grille, 120 Boston Post Road, Sudbury

Thursday – Hebert’s Candy Mansion, 574 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury

Thursday – Kitty’s, 123 Main St., N. Reading

Friday – Kimball’s Farm, 1543 Lunenburg Road/Route 70, Lancaster
