Richard B. will stuff bags next week with the flyers and registration cards.
The DJ is all set and will bring his own generator.
Richard B. and Will F. to visit Shake Shack and talk with the manager about offering lunch to Modifiers club members. Last year, they offered lunch to club members who wore the club hat, t-shirt, or sweatshirt.
Wellesley Lions will set up a tent to sell coffee, etc.
Will F. will provide Geoff B. with a list of streets to stage cars: double lane on Cross Street, both sides of Church Street, Weston Road between Cross and Central Streets.

Volunteers:
Set Up – Rick G., Dave M., Richard K., Jim C., Ned G.
Registration – Richard B., Louise S., Joan B., Paul S., Greg H., Jerry P., Marlene C.
Judges: Roy D., Warren C., Paul S.
Parking: Steve H., Dave M., Sully
50/50 Raffle: Craig H.
Photos; Frank S., Annette L.
Steve H. volunteered to transport supplies to the show from Richard B.’s house.
There will be 20 awards plus Best of Show award.
A suggestion was made to give all the volunteers the cell phone numbers of each other should an issue arise.
It was suggested to bring water for the volunteers. Will F. will provide the cooler and water and ice will be brought to the event.

NOTE: The parking lot behind Shake Shack is now pay by plate and the landlord sends invoices by mail. One member received an invoice for $100. Wellesley Police Officer Cunningham has recommended that we stay out of that parking lot. It was suggested to put cones out, so no show car attempts to park/stage in that lot.

Natick Community Senior Center Car Show – Will F., Richard B., Nancy T.
The event will not happen this year. The Center was unable to commit to finding sponsors for this year. The Center would like our club to do the work and receive a donation from the proceeds. The prospective show will be revisited in 2027.

Murphy’s Eats & Treats – Nancy T.
The first official cruise night will be Saturday, May 16.
Sean has agreed to give either a free large soda or small ice cream with meal purchase. He also mentioned he would like to give the car owners a gift card at the end of the season.
Raffle tickets will be given out to car owners to redeem the soda or ice cream. A club member should be present each Saturday with raffle tickets and to assist with parking if needed.

Nancy T. mentioned that the Facebook group posts received a lot of likes and shares and she is hopeful that the event will have more participants this year.

July 4th Cruise – Marlene C.

Marlene sent a proposed schedule for the event which was read to the attendees. Cars would gather at the Natick Parks & Recreation parking lot on Mill Street at 9:30-9:45 am. The route would travel through Natick to Speen Street and then to Route 27 in Sherborn. Proceed to drive to The Residence Assisted Living in Millis for a drive-by/parade and then travel to Dunkin Donuts in Dover around 10:45-11 am for a 20-minute stop/restroom break. Depart and drive through South Natick onto Route 135 and pass The Friends of the 4th event on Natick Common. Cars would then continue on Route 135 and stop for lunch at TJ Spirits in Ashland which offers plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor eating spaces at approximately 11:45 am.

If the weather does not cooperate, we can gather at TJ Spirits for fun and lunch. Note: TJ Spirits only accepts CASH, check, and has an onsite ATM.
